Job Summary
Performs various tasks related to cleaning and sanitation. Washes pots/pans/utensils/dishes according to established procedures to maintain compliance with regulatory agencies. Collects and disposes of trash and garbage. Keeps work area neat and clean. Does daily and weekly cleaning following cleaning schedules. Handles and stores food and supplies according to guidelines. Disposes of garbage. Keeps carts cleaned and sanitized. Performs organizing, straightening, cleaning, stocking, sweeping, and mopping. Delivers and retrieves trays according to policy. Delivers floor stock. Does dishwashing (pots and pans/3-comp sink, dish machine per policy). Does shift opening and closing responsibilities along with various cafeteria duties including serving, stocking, cleaning. Cross trains for other positions.
Minimum Qualifications
Education
High School Diploma or GED required
Experience
Six months in food related area preferred, but not required
